Starfleet Digital Services Agreement

By accessing this Starfleet digital platform (“Starfleet Command Network” or “SCN”), you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following terms of service, in accordance with Federation law and Starfleet regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Access to this system constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must disconnect immediately. Unauthorized access to Starfleet systems is a violation of Federation Security Code Section 7, Paragraph 4.

2. Authorized Use

2.1 Permitted Activities

  • Accessing publicly available Starfleet information and resources
  • Viewing personnel records marked for public disclosure
  • Reading official Starfleet news and announcements
  • Participating in authorized community discussions
  • Submitting applications for Starfleet Academy or positions

2.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Attempting to access classified or restricted information without proper clearance
  • Impersonating Starfleet personnel or Federation officials
  • Transmitting false distress signals or emergency communications
  • Interfering with subspace communications or system operations
  • Violating the Prime Directive in any communications with pre-warp civilizations
  • Sharing technical specifications that could compromise Federation security

3. Security Classifications

Information on this platform is classified according to Starfleet Security Protocol:

  • Level 1-3: Public Information – Freely accessible
  • Level 4-6: Restricted – Requires authenticated Federation citizenship
  • Level 7-9: Classified – Requires specific security clearance
  • Level 10-12: Top Secret – Command authorization required

Attempting to access information above your clearance level will result in automatic security alerts and potential prosecution under Federation law.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their access credentials. This includes:

7. Content Standards

8. Holographic and AI Rights

In accordance with the Holographic Rights Act of 2378, all sentient artificial intelligences and holographic beings have equal standing on this platform. Discrimination against photonic or artificial life forms is strictly prohibited.

9. Temporal Regulations

Discussion or disclosure of temporal events, future knowledge, or timeline alterations is strictly regulated under the Temporal Prime Directive. Users claiming knowledge of future events will be investigated by the Department of Temporal Investigations.

10. Medical and Emergency Protocols

11. Dispute Resolution

12. Limitation of Liability

Starfleet Command is not liable for:

  • Service interruptions due to Borg attacks or other hostile actions
  • Translation errors in the Universal Translator matrix

13. Modifications to Terms

14. Termination

Starfleet may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms, conduct unbecoming a Federation citizen, or by order of a court martial. Terminated users may appeal through proper Starfleet channels.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Federation of Planets, with venue in the Federation District Court, San Francisco, Earth, Sol System.

16. The Prime Directive

All users must acknowledge that nothing in these terms supersedes General Order 1 (The Prime Directive). Disclosure of advanced technology or Federation presence to pre-warp civilizations through this platform is strictly prohibited and punishable by court martial.
