Member Rights
All Federation members are entitled to:
- Representation in the Federation Council
- Protection by Starfleet forces

- Cultural and religious freedom
- Territorial sovereignty within Federation space
Member Obligations
Member worlds must:
- Contribute resources to Starfleet operations

Neutral Zone Protocols
Federation members must respect established neutral zones with non-aligned powers. Entry into neutral zones requires explicit authorization from Starfleet Command and may constitute an act of war.
Diplomatic Immunity
Accredited ambassadors and diplomatic personnel from member worlds enjoy full diplomatic immunity within Federation space, subject to recall by their governments for violations of interstellar law.
