Classification System
Information within Starfleet is classified according to sensitivity and potential impact on Federation security:
Security Levels
- Level 10: Public Information
- Level 9: Starfleet General Access
- Level 8: Department Restricted
- Level 7: Senior Officer Access
- Level 6: Command Staff Only
- Level 5: Captain’s Eyes Only
- Level 4: Commodore and Above
- Level 3: Admiral Access Required
- Level 2: Starfleet Command Restricted
- Level 1: Federation Council Clearance
Omega Directive
Information regarding Omega particles is restricted to Captain rank and above. Detection of Omega phenomena triggers automatic implementation of the Omega Directive, superseding all other orders including the Prime Directive.

Information Handling
Classified materials must be:
- Encrypted using quantum encryption protocols
- Transmitted only through secure subspace channels
- Accessed only from authorized terminals
- Destroyed using molecular dispersal when no longer needed
Breach Procedures

- Immediate lockdown of affected systems
- Security alert to Starfleet Intelligence
- Full forensic analysis of access logs
